MY SCHOOL LIFE
MY LIFE 2024 The name of school is Kakinad
a Arya Vidyalaya , in Kakinada. It is one of the finest schools of West Bengal. our school is situated in North 24 parganas about 2 km. away from Kakinada. The school was established in 1953. Revered Maharshi Dayanand Saraswathi is the maker of this school. The aim of this educational institution is to give man-making education which Swami Vivekananda wanted. The school has two parts- Junior Section and Senior Section. The school buildings in both the sections are very big and beautiful. They are two-storeyed building. There are beautiful gardens with green and grassy lawns in front of both of them. The classrooms are big and airy. It is a residential school. There are about two hundred students in our school. We have about fifteen teachers in all for both Hindi medium section. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They love us much and teach sincerely. This is perhaps one of the main reasons why our school does so brightly and brilliantly in the Secondary Examination each and every year.
MY LIFE 2024 On the occasion of Christmas, a group of our friends and relatives went for a picnic to Bendel Church on 25th December last. It is an excellent place for picnic beside the holy Hooghly. The picnic party consisted of 15th members in all. We were escorted by our elder. We started early in the morning by bus with all necessary things and reached the picnic spot at about 8:00 a.m. We had our refreshment then and the elders immediately began cooking food. We the young people went to the river side to enjoy the beauties of the river flowing so close by. There were many picnic parties on the occasion there. Then we had our bath in the river and our lunch by 2:00 p.m. The menu for the lunch included different delicious food items and we all ate them to our hearts, content. After the meal was over, we spent our time lying listening to songs and music on the tape recorder and gossiping. Some of us enjoyed boating in the river. We left the place after sunset. Thus we had a pleasant picnic on the day.

THE JOURNEY IN A CROWDED BUS
MY LIFE 2024 A few days back, I had a bitter experience of a journey in a crowded bus. Father and myself were waiting at Gariahat junction to get a bus for Esplanade. The bus come after some time. It was jam-packed. The bus was so crowded that many passengers were standing and even hanging at the gates. To get into the bus was great problem. We had to board the over crowded bus as we were in a hurry. We struggled really very hard to go into the bus. We shouldered and elbowed our way inside. Some of the passengers were shouting at us as we trod their feet. The inside of the bus was so crowded that even standing comfortably there was very difficult. Sometimes I had to stand on one foot. But despite so much trouble, the conductor was doing his duties properly. It was a big wonder to me. In addition to these difficulties, the bus was jogging along the rough roads and the driver often applied the brakes. As a result, the passengers lost their tempers and cursed him. Some were criticizing the government for its failure to tackle transport problems. Some among the passengers were cutting and cracking nice jokes. All enjoyed them much. At last, we came to our destination and got down with a deep sigh .
THE JOURNEY IN A CROWDED STATION
MY LIFE 2024 One day I had to go to Howrah Station to receive my maternal uncle. The time was in the Pick Office hours in the morning. I could hear the hubbub from quite a long distance away form the station. The first thing did at the station was to buy the platform ticket. The ticket checkers at the gates then checked the ticket. When I entered the main part of the station I saw a sea of people. There were porters, hawkers, beggars in the jostling crowd of the station. There were also different stalls there selling various articles. Local trains were arriving on the platforms of the station one after another with thousands of passengers. Hundreds of them were also found boarding the trains to reach their own places. In the meantime, the train in which my relative was travelling reached the station and I met him. Then we come out of the station with the porter carrying the luggage. We stood in a long queue for a cab I heaved a sigh of relief at last when our turn came and then started for home.
A JOURNEY BY TRAIN
MY LIFE 2024 I had a great desire to go on a journey by train. My dream came true when my father planned to go to South India on a visit in the last Puja vacation. On 7th October last, I along with other members of our family, arrived at Howrah Station at 2 p.m. to catch the Coromondal Express. Father had our seats reserved in advance. We boarded the train and took our seats in time. I was lucky enough to have a seat by the window. Most of the passengers in the compartment were Bengalese. They were also going to South India to enjoy the vacation. However, the train started right on time and soon it picked up great speed. In no time, I forget everything and only looked outside. The first halt was at Kharagpur. As the train stopped, the hawkers entered the compartment to sell their articles. Soon the train started again and our next halt was at Bal sore. Then we ate our meals and after some time went to sleep. I took the upper bunk and soon fell fast asleep. I woke up early next morning and started enjoying the wavy landscapes of Orissa and Andhra Pradesh. At long last, our train reached Chennai in the evening. Thus, our delightful journey came to an end.
MY LIFE 2024 The same food I was teased for as a kid has become trendy and divorced from its cultural origins. Now, I’m using my cookbook to change the narrativeI was never taught how to cook as a child. My parents don’t cook very often; their specialty is chili cheese toast, and I don’t know any passed-down family recipes. Instead, I learned the basics from Chitra Agrawal’s Vibrant India when I was 21. But even though I was brought up on Indian food, I learned about it through the white gaze Slowly, I started absorbing the stigma that others attached to my culture. In fifth grade, my mom submitted a chicken tikka masala recipe to our class cookbook even though we are vegetarians, because it’s always been easier to give the people what they want than to try to educate them. In 10th grade, eating bhindi stained my braces green. In college, my favorite snack was papad, but when my friends started to sniff the air after I made it, I learned to be self-conscious about its smell. As an adult, even my own home could make me feel judged: Whenever I made tadka in my Brooklyn kitchen, the mustard seeds tempering in ghee set off the smoke detector.
FRIEND TRAVELLING TRIP
MY LIFE 2024 I am going to talk about a trip with my friends that I really enjoyed. But before I talk about the trip, I would like to thank you for this nice topic.
Last year, in the month of June, I went on a trip to Shimla with my three friends, Rhea, Aryan, and Neil. Little did I know back then that it would be such an exciting and joyful trip.
We planned the trip a few weeks before the actual trip. We took the night bus from Delhi and reached Shimla early in the morning. We had pre-booked a hotel room and took a cab to our hotel. After taking some rest, we explored the nearby markets and had some local food for lunch.
On the second day, we went trekking and sightseeing. We visited the Jakhu Temple, Green Valley, and the famous Kufri. Kufri is a small hill station, which is situated a few kilometres away from Shimla. We did horse riding and took some photographs in traditional Himachali attire. In the evening, we went back to our hotel and played board games. The next day, we went to Mall Road, which is the most popular tourist destination in Shimla. We did some shopping and visited Christ Church, which is situated on the Ridge. We also tried some street food and local delicacies.
Speaking from my heart, I had a great time with my friends on this trip. I enjoyed their company, and we had a lot of fun together. We made some great memories, which I will cherish forever.
