HISTORY OF AJMER

Ajmer has a very detailed history and the history of this city is more than 700 years old. 700 years ago, the city of Ajmer was under the control of the chichi Gurjars and this fact has been brought forward by Rajputana Gazetteer. In the sank language, Ajmer is called Ajayraj Singh Chauhan in the late 7th century A.D. The clan of the Chauhan is basically a unit of the chechi Gurjars. In the 12 century, Muhammad Ghor, Who founded the Delhi sultanate conquered Ajmer and instead of rolling the city they offered an autonomy to the Chauhan dynasty in autonomy to the Chauhan dynasty in return of a huge amount.
