India has several cold places, primarily located in its northern regions, including the Himalayas. Here are some of the coldest places in India:

Dras (Jammu and Kashmir):

Dras
 is often called the “second coldest place in the world” after Siberia. During winters, temperatures can drop below -40°C. It is located in the Kargil region, known for its cold weather and snowfall.

Leh (Ladakh):

Leh, the capital of Ladakh region, is also a very beautiful place. It has a cold climate, especially in winter months, where temperatures can drop to -30 °C. It is located at an altitude of about 3,500 meters (11,500 feet).

Keelung (Himachal Pradesh):

Keelung
 is located in the Lahaul district of Himachal Pradesh. The area is approximately 3,080 metres (10,100 feet) above sea level and winters are very cold, with temperatures sometimes dropping below -20°C.
